Education is a major key in assisting people to move out of the cycle of poverty as they become aware of more options and increase their ability to earn a living. To address this, Paradigm Missions has begun a basic literacy school for the children in the village who have no access to school due to lack of funds and resources. A sewing school has been very popular and will transition into a sewing cooperative where the skilled machinists are able to produce items for sale.

The next initiative is to establish classes in typing and basic computer use for the business sector in Kotido township. These skills have not been taught in this region and so many are eager to achieve these capabilities to make them valuable employees in one of the offices locally or further away.
